Our SEM system is essentially a combination of an AX 20 drive (box-cam motion control with servo drive) and a high precision, linear bearing guided slide/ram that is configured as a precise, dynamic unit for high speed (2000 strokes per minute @ 1mm stroke length), sensitive processes up to 20kN. The slide is equipped with all required tool-holders and clamping options.

In addition to the adjustable stroke-length the system can also offer a spring loaded attachment of the slide to the drive unit. This allows for an “over-stroke” of approximately 0.1 – 0.5mm that can serve as tolerance compensation, (the compressive force remains nearly constant). A feature that can be of great advantage for sensitive applications.

In conjunction with our IPC control this system works very well with our pulsation technology (stamping, forming, coining, drawing, “smart impulse®” s, b, p, z). | Datenblatt_SEM-20
